When planning an event or
booking a special feature the primary concerns for the host church/Ministry
are:1. Timing 2. Cost 3. Content1.Timing: this is the
primary and critical issue for almost any event. That's why advance
planning is most advantageous. While some events can be planned and
conducted in a hurry, giving ourselves at least two months calendaring time
will make the event, promotion and personalities most effective. Also,
since Andy (and the other members of 180 Degrees) works for the local church,
non-Sunday events are preferred. Since timing is so critical, the first step
for you is to e-mail your dates, or call, and check for availability. Please send
an e-mail with these bits of information:
a brief description of
your event
the number of
on-stage performances at the event
whether you would like
Andy alone, or the entire 180 Degrees ministry team
2. Cost: While costs will
vary depending upon the size of the event and the material being presented,
there are some static figures and minimums that can be expressed here:
travel- transportation, food and lodging must be covered
honorarium- a single day event, versus a weekend retreat
of multiple days, versus a week of camp/revival each have incremental needs
based upon the length of time required. Love offerings are useful, but
depending upon the needs of your event, the size of the congregation and the
length of the ministry opportunity, minimal standards will have to be agreed
upon. The only way to figure these specific costs is to get in touch.
3. Content: Knowing if it is a graduation or a
revival is only half the battle. The real questions is what is the purpose of
the event? Is it evangelism, discipleship, service, worship, fellowship,
entertainment, etc.
Andy would be glad to speak with you, even if you're just
exploring the possibilities. Please use the contact information above and begin
the process of seeing what can be done to make your event a success.
